Congratulations to all involved in this project. We have pledges over $ 30,000.00 from the Cheboygan community both individuals and businesses. The county of Cheboygan has voted to kick in an additional $ 10,000.00. This brings our total to over $ 40,000.00 in pledges. We will begin the grant process shortly to the Michigan Economic Development Corporations Public Spaces (MEDC) with hopes of receiving a matching grant of another $ 40,000.00. Our immediate fundraising goals have been met and we move on to this new stage. Congrats to all.
